Per a customer request I am just wrapping up designing another single seat buggy to add to our list of models
The goal was to have a 60" wide buggy like our XK450, yet all the power and performance of the 1000cc buggies
This has our XK front end design, combined with our rear engine cradle package off the DXT & 2 seat SS1000
this way you can have the same engine cradle as our other buggies and the option of live axle or reverse
this will definitley be a great trail machine at 60" wide and also have a ton of power to tear up the dunes
XK1000 specs
Front
58-60” wide
16-17” travel front
7 degrees rake
Rear
58-62” wide
12” travel
4 degrees rake
114”- 116” long
56-57” tall
1 1/2 dia tubing
here are some design pics

I really like the side vents. Way to tie the 2 models together, and to get rid of some the header heat. Good stuff!
Nowhere near the desert.

Now your cooking with gas.... Is the whole rear drive line scaled down or just closer mounting points? Are you gonna have the suspension parts for this added to the web site?
I see a few of these in the utvrr in the future.

I agree, this would be a real good fit for UTVRR and the tighter trails.
Yes, after this build the parts will be available on the website.
the changes in the rear are different A arms and a new rear wheel upright that uses the 24 spline micro stub and 3 bolt bearing assembly.
This is a a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt hub
the engine cradle is pretty much the same , has the same mounting points .
you can bolt interchange the a arms and parts to be 68" wide or 58" wide
