New from Fulton NY. Hi!!

I downsized from a full tube chassis rock crawler to a Can Am outlander 400HO ATV. I like the simplicity of laod and go, and there are more areas to ride in NY. Mostly mud bogged the crawler so I sold it. Now I miss the performance the crawler had. quick acceleration, suspension, and top end speed. Looking to hopefully utilize a Suzuki GS850 in a small chassis that will still handle the narrow quad trails.

I have to admit I'm here looking for answers and help. I can fabricate very well but things like steering geometery and shock load adjustments, technical stuff ya know? Thanks for letting me join and I am looking forward to see all the build on here. It brings out the kid in me at 52.

Welcome aboard!! I echo JimmyG's statement about digging through the forums, but I would also recommend that you pick up a set of buggy plans. You may not use the actual plans as laid out, but they will give you dimensions and explain how the buggy is built. Badlands Buggy is a good place to start because they have plans for different styles and construction skillsets. Take a look and you'll get some ideas.

Lots of guys have built minibuggys using motorcycle engines. If you have questions, ask away!!
