It's cliché I know saying 'g'day' but it is still very Australian!
Like many I've been leaning on this forum for a while so joining up was an obvious move... hopefully be able to give something back someday.
I've been a revhead all my life and live off grid on 93 acres in the lovely Aussie bush.
Am trained as a blacksmith and work from my shed doing mostly metal fabrication and some art.
I'm very interested in bio fuels and high performance electric power in efforts to be a revhead and impact the environment as little as possible....keeps me thinking that does
I'm putting together a 300hp electric powered single seat buggy... warp9 motor, zilla 2k controller and lipo battery pack.
So there'll be some questions on the suspension set up and other details... already have the buggy as a roller.
Cheers everyone and chat soon!

Welcome aboard. I think there will be a lot of interest in your build and lots of tips on how to set up the suspension.

Cheers guys,
Is indeed a nice part of the world...good to be able to dip in and out of human activity as I feel like it that's for sure.
Electric power, as everyone's no doubt well aware, is still a pretty fledgling business, at least the hi-perf variety is anyway and it seems to come with massive cons and massive pros.
I built a pretty nasty elec downhill bike a few years ago and got an upfront dose of this.
Cons-- heavyish, expensive, poor range and long charge time
Pros-- quiet, very cheap to run, very reliable once set up right, near no maintenance and eyewateringly quick.
I'll start the build thread shortly but managed to land a donor car with everything I need except the battery...it's an 81 Datsun ute already elec rodded and a great head start.
Game on and great to touch base with you crew!
