Seems like shipped it was 75 lbs, so maybe between 65-70.

This is going to be sweet! I definitely like the idea of the phazer powerplant, those little sleds shred even with 250lbs of me tossing it around. I haven't figured out a good source to get one of those engines from though without buying the entire sled, which I suppose would be the best way.
I've also noticed on here that nobody uses anything 2 stroke - With the electric start and being able to spin the engine backwards for reverse on some of the newer ones, I'd think they would be awesome for buggies.

Wonder if part of it is that snowmobiles exist up north and buggies exist down south in general. Majority of buggies/sand rails you see up here for sale are VW powered.

Mine may be small and an older motor compared to most, but the old sled motor seems to be working nice in mine

According to the highly accurate Team OPR scales ($12 Walmart bathroom), an engine with no clutch, FI, exhaust, etc., is 76 lbs.

I just had to do a little happy dance!
The Phazer engine is a sweet little unit. I was never let down by it. If it's any indication of what the Nytro is gonna be, I'm stoked.

Everyone who drives the Briggs car loves the engine! The whole car, actually.

Glad to hear the praise for the little 500cc ripper! I got word this morning that I should have a pair of Phazer long blocks w/ harnesses (not sure what else yet) headed my direction in a week or so.
I spent some time peaking through K's original Briggs thread on how he installed the engines, focusing on mount points. Will be using the same basic drivetrain to what he has in the Mini-Raptor. Just trying to visualize how things will fit together with the baby twin.
BTW, props to you K for documenting your builds well with pictures and text.Polaris RAGER 570/1000 S Hybrid
