Back when my wife lost her job, I sold my teryx. We have since recovered, so 3 or 4 months ago, wife and I decided to get a machine that would allow the family to off-road together. The big gamble was whether or not our 2 yr old was going to like it. After our first trip with him... We realized it was a great decision.

So... We ended up buying a 2013 white teryx4. Of course, my wife said NO fabrication on it until I finish the little buggy. I agreed. So, I will be putting the normal things on it... Stereo, rear view mirror, rims, lights, etc.

My plan is to use this thread as a build thread. So I will add pictures as I build it up.

    EDITed to add pic:

this is with the bedlift on it...

Very cool, I have a little guy and another baby due the end of this year... Makes me think I should have built a 4 seater....

Look forward to seeing how you trick it out.

If I may ask, why did you choose the Teryx over the brands out there? Just asking because I don't know much about them. I have several friends that have XP1000's and couple friends that have Wildcats, but don't really know anyone with the Teryx.

Well, I have had a couple of them(side by sides)over the years.... My buddy had an 08 or 09 teryx that would go anywhere and never really broke down. That, and the fact that I wanted more torque than speed, I figured the teryx4 was a good choice. I knew I wouldn't be hot rodding in it with a two year old either. When the time came to purchase, we test drove a couple... The t4 was really comfortable, which played a big part. And now you know the rest of the story.

Within the state, 'Stoney lonesome'... It's about an hour from my house. Within 5hrs, there are about 7 off-roading areas/parks though.
