Crashed toys is a subsidiary of Copart, they just marketed it to the general public. Same membership rules apply so if you are already a member of Copart system, Crashed Toys would not make you pay again. I have not heard of National but I'll have to check them out, I'm always looking to save a dollar.

I finally broke the tubing bender I had in the shop (Hecho en China). One of you Texas guys wouldn't know where to find a local deal or know someone selling a decent one would you? Craigslist had a nice one but the guy flaked in true CL fashion. Fleabay ones just seem sketchy. It doesn't need to be hydraulic.

I'm headed out to the shop this afternoon so I will get you guys some more pics of the chassis and the rolled Chinese Rzr knock off. Plan on laying out all of the parts and double checking angles and doing measurements. The reason for all of that is to eventually copy and upscale the buggy after this build for an LS power plant buggy. Seems ambitious I know but my projects tend to move fairly quickly. My honey do list last week was finish our 8' cedar fence, replace the head and do a timing set on the old triton f150, swap tranny on my cummins, replace coils, plugs and coolant crossover on the wife's x5, all while keeping my sanity. Just need to clear the board some so this one doesn't get rushed.

Project x... what are the demensions of your coil overs on your tut chassis? I want to go ahead and order them to set up my tabs and rear upper mounts. I know a lot of you guys use the fox setup but I've had really good luck with the kings on my other trucks. Any comparisons? I've never had any experience with fox shocks except on my mountain bike, that's not really apples to apples.

I know how frustrating it can be to repeat yourself so if I ask something that has already been covered elsewhere please let me know. I think I've found most of the Tut build threads and bookmarked.

I used Fox Shocks with remote reservoirs and dual rate springs. The rear springs measure 3 1/2".

I will have to find my data sheets to give you more details on spring rates.

I ordered different springs 3 times before getting it right.
