    It would be a lot easier to just get another Polaris 440 engine, they are a dime a dozen.

    Post some pics of what the rear end looks like, so I can get an idea of how involved that kind of swap would be.

    Engine installed, starts and runs with Honda CBR 600 engine.... this thing is going to be scary fast... 100 hp @ 12000 rpm... dual Supertrapp spark arrestor exhaust....Attachment 23632

    hi i have the eipper quiksilver sr44o. the engine is stuck up and i need a new one. can anyone help me find an engine , or help me with the conversion??\

    sixstrgrzr please help with the conversion.. i can buy a motorcycle engine but i have no idea about what transmission to use and so on.. please help

    I have a really nice quicksilver SR440 dark blue runs great!!! I have found very little information about these buggys. But they seem really cool and fun and fast. I have found lot of parts available for the rebuild parts on line cheep in price.

    There's a forum called Buggynews or something like that. They may be a source for info.
