    I have s10 front hubs.

Building a 2 seat buggy powered by a bike engine.

Trying to figure out an upright design that will give me front brakes

I got to this point..The circle plate with the mounting holes for the hub are not dimensiond correctly as I don't have the hub sitting in front of me

    Thanks

Guessing its a standard bolt on wheel hub bearing unit? What about pressing out the lug studs, having a rotor made to matching lug pattern, then slipping studs thru rotor and back onto bearing unit. Bearing unit would need to be fairly flat where rotor sets but? Had RickS make me some on old car, think they were 3/16? And used some m/c calipers i had.

Hey Mxer, I have been working on the same thing, trying to use the 2wd front hubs in my upright design. The biggest challenge is how to mount the calipers and mount the bearings. I have started looking at the Nissan hubs, the flange for mounting the bearings is more vertical than the intrepid which is triangular in shape. i will send through a design if I think it will work.

    cheers.

I used hubs/bearings, rotors, and caliper of of the back of a fwd Dodge Caliber. The hub pattern is rectangle with 4 bolts. The wheel bolt pattern is a more common 5x4 1/2. Inexpensive and easy to get parts anywhere.

    Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

I also used S-10 rotors and welded S-10 spindle snouts in.
Used Willwood calipers on Kartek caliper brackets.
It worked great and was easy set up.
You can find rotors and bearings at any local parts store.

I would go with what Project X said. If you go with the bearing unit from a 4wd, there usually is a splined stub with a nut on it. I believe that holds the bearing unit all together. another option would be a Dana 35 snout.
