one of my current cars is in need of some mods.
it has a 3.8 fi v6 that is all stock ( 200 hp'ish ) it weighs roughly 1200 lbs from what i was told by who i bought it from. front end weight is light.
it has stock irs suspention with type2 inside cv's and type 1 outside cv's.
most of my riding is done in sand. dry river bottoms and dunes

obviously, this combo is not speced properly.

im looking to put 3x3's on it but dont know whether to go with 930 or type 2 cv's ?

obviously 930's are stronger and have alot more angle but will this setup be able to use all of the angle from the type2's before it bottoms out? i know somebody knows what will work.

when i decide to buy what i need are the "all inclusive 3x3 kits" that are advertised setup with all the proper parts such as axle lenghts? and are they priced right vrs getting everything seperate?

lastly, as far as suspention what will need done to the car to make this setup perform properly? do i need to set it up on airshocks or upgrade the tortion system?

let me know what can be done for a more enjoyable ride !

Hi danielswt, and welcome to mbn

I'm kinda new to this myself, but anyway what I myself would do is swap all of them out for the 930's but that's just me, y'll probably get a lot better awnser later from somebody that knows a lot more then I do, but that's my 2cents

A set of 3x3 arms would be a great step up and the complete kits are priced right. You will want to run a larger pair of torsion bars maybe 27 or 28mm by 26" long and a pair of medium Bilsteins.
