I got my suspension today, its just rzr 1000 stuff. My question is when setting up my shock mounts to bottom out the shock at full bump which is about 4 inches of the ground. The shocks have a hard foam bumpstop on the shaft, do i consider bottomed out having the foam fully compressed or just when it starts to make contact?
I want to make sure i get this pretty right and can set up for the wheel travel i need

Those bumpers are pretty hard. I’d guess maybe 1/2 squish during one of those kidney killer bottomings.
Set up sitting on the bumper - the minimal excess won’t make a difference.
