This is probably gonna be a slow build but we'll see what happens. I used 1.5"x.095" wall DOM tubing for the upper frame and 1.5".100" wall sq. tubing for the lower frame. I used 1.25x.120" wall DOM tube for the A-arms. I'm staying pretty close to the plans. I have an idea for Dodge Caravan CV's in the back, but I'm not too far with that yet.

Nice work. I was able to view your Photobucket public folder and saw your race mower. Is there a thread on another forum you could link us?

Thanks. I got some of the rear suspension plates welded together today.

I finished up the suspension bushings and got some bolts for the front A-arms. I'm still waiting for heim joints.

My plan for the rear axle is to machine two extra wheel hubs down so I have a tube with splines inside and then weld them into a 2" O.D. DOM tube. I've modified some driver side caravan axles to fit outer cv's on both ends and they'll just plug into the DOM with the splined tube welded inside.

Thanks. This is actually my first time posting on a forum, but I've got a bunch of youtube videos under the user Wertheroriginal.

Figured out the back is about 51.5" wide hub face to hub face. The front may be a bit wider but I figure I can even that out with tire and wheel selection.

Worked on the rear A-arms today.

This is how I notch the tubes.

Bushings are a little tight but I figure they'll loosen up on their own.

It seems to swing through it's motion range nicely.
