Yep, I’m in Utah. It was at little Moab. There are some really fun twisty trails to get sideways on out there. Send me a message and we can exchange contact info if you ever want to meet up.

I will be relocating to the Phoenix area next year. Work will have me covering all of the Western states CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, UT, NV, AZ, NM, WY and CO. It would be great if we can connect at some point during my travels. I know you have listed your buggy for sale, but I am sure we can figure something out along the way.

For sure, let me know when you’re in Utah. Chances are I’ll still have it and if not, it will be a single seater buggy at that point so I’ll always have something.

Absolutely man, lets do it. Moab might be interesting depending on how certain policies plan out. Some are trying to get UTV's kicked out of certain areas but i'll keep you in the loop.
Kfab, I know I messaged you before on this but i'm wanting to pull the trigger on some coilovers and want to make sure I have specs down correctly. The buggy is currently in storage or else I would go take measurements and send it to accutune.
So, I think i'm going fox coilovers with remote resevoir front and rear (unless there is a reason I should go piggy back instead. Would like insight). The buggy will mostly be used for more higher speed hill course racing (colorado hill climb, stage rally, etc) and some light road coarse usage.
Looking at Fox site, I am looking at the following:
Front
Factory Race 2.0 x 12.0 Coilover Remote Shock with DSC Adjustment. Shaft =7/8, extension 31.1, compression 19.1, Reservoir 2.1 x 11, Mounting 1/2 x 1.25 Valving 50/70
Rear
Factory Race 2.0 x 16 Coilover Remote Shock with DSC adjustment. Shaft = 7/8, extension 40.1, Compression 24.1, Resevoir 2.0 x 11, 1/2 x 1.25, Valving 50/70
Does this setup look correct for the SS1000? Can anyone give me input on what springs would be recommended? I'm thinking along the lines of dual rate eibach

I know this wasn't addressed to me, but since you messaged me before I thought I would chime in... Unless you are going to completely redesign all your suspension, where is that much shock going to fit??? They were only designed to have a FOX 10" 2.0 Air shock that has the following spec's
- Product Collapsed Length: 17.43"
- Product Extended Length: 27.43"
- Even if the rears were a 12" air those spec's are :
- Product Collapsed Length: 19.33"
- Product Extended Length: 31.33"
There isn't much room in the back for shock expansion. I know I had to cut my rear lower brace to my Elka Coilovers to fit and I followed the stock specifications as much as possible.Marine Veteran Sgt USMC 8151/8541 1992-2000

Sorry, I got things mixed up while trying the multi task, I think these are the correct ones i'm looking at
Fox Factory Race 2.0 x 10 piggy back. 5/8 Shaft, 26.64 Extension, 16..67 Compressed, Mounting 1/2 x 1.25 Valving ???? I'm thinking 50/70?
I dont see any issue running piggy back in the rears, but looking at the front, i'm not sure if there is enough room to accommodate for the piggy back reservoir hence the thought I might have to go remote.

Got ya, just trying to be sure you get the correct ones since it is an expensive enough hobby, without any extra mix ups. One other thing to check is front coil clearance and spacing on the lower eyelet, I know there is a pretty extreme angle at full droop and you might need a longer eyelet to clear the bottom coil carrier. You are correct, you will probably need to go to a remote reservoir. I did manage a pair of piggy backs, but all of my stuff is one off because the suspension components weren't being made anymore.

In case anyone is wondering on fox part numbers, here is what Fox gave me after being on the phone for a bit.
Part number is 980-02-005-1 with longer eyelet. Fox remote res coilover 2.0 x 10 with 5/8th shaft. Factory valving is 40/60 which I think will be ideal given the weight. Now to figure out springs.
