I picked up this Frame which was almost a rolling chasis except for the wheelsabout 1.5 years ago. It has been a interesting to get to this point of rebuilding something that was almost done a while back but never fully completed. I hope to log the build here and complete it.
This is the link to the original build

Here's the same model completed......
Just so you know, the next generation SR2 wing will fit on that chassis (pictured in my sig)......
The rail in the back of this pic with the grafix is the same model as yours, but he got my new wing. To date, his s the only one of that style with a wing

Thanks for the pictures Yoshi.
Couple of changes on this one as it was setup for the Jeffco system, I had to have it, and I'm going with coil overs instead of airshocks.
I will post some more pictures up this weekend because moving it to the pation. As you can see from one of the pictures working on it any longer in a 1 car garage is supressing progress.

I have to admit the shear amount of rust on that does scare me a bit, it seems to be beyond surface rust.
I don't suppose I could talk you into a new frame kit with a nice discount on the agreement you chop up the one you have, could I?........
You can use a lot of what you already have, all you would need from me is frame, a-arms, trailing arms and spindles. Your bearing carriers, outboard brakes, shocks, seats, wheels, rack, etc. will all work with the new frame.
You would be getting my new SXR chassis, which is actually lighter than the one you have now and setup a lot better than the one you have, which was designed about 6 years ago, so i've come a long way in both design and functionality......

Just wrap some duct tape around it and go! That's what Jethro Bodine would do!
[Jethro and Cousin Pearl are driving in the truck to Jed's place]
Cousin Pearl: Jethro, did you take care of those old brakes like I told you to?
Jethro: Yes, Ma, I pulled them off the truck yesterday. The new brakes should be coming in the mail next week.
