Bleed holes should be .101, the drill size for a 4-40 roll tap.........
How much pre-load do you have? Doubtful the springs are the issue unless it's sitting with only 2" of droop and zero pre-load. Since it's not sitting that high and your springs aren't flopping when it drops out your springs are probably in the ball park.
Get a small nitrogen bottle and a regulator and do it yourself, it's not hard. Sending them out every time you want to make a change will get costly. There are some good vids on Youtube that will show you everything you need to break down a shock and put it back together.
I would start buy opening up 2 bleed holes. If that doesn't cure it some stack trickery will be in order.
If you crack them open, measure the stacks with a mic and post up what they are.
And, you should have been doing this a couple months ago. Riding season is almost here for you..........
Edit: totally agree on the bigger wheels. Bigger wheels make the bumps that much smaller.

Man thanks a bunch bdkw1. Yes dune season is upon us here in Oklahoma. Had to mapquest Easton. Not tooo far from Little Sahara. I wasnt planning on riding anymore, period. Was gonna sell my tazcar, trailer and Winnebago but this thread has given me some hope. I watched some youtube vids and I can do it. Just might need some help along the way with the shims, nitrogen and dialing everything in to my liking. Preload is 0, and I get quite a bit of droop in the rear. If this rebuild/revalve gets me closer to a ride my ol back can handle then 15" tires will be in my future budget. Thanks guys!!!

We can walk you thru any work you may do.
The mechanics of doing shock valving is quite simple. Tuning on the other hand is a bit more of an art, like CVT tuning.Last edited by K-fab; 03-29-2018 at 01:35 AM.

Also, use a quality 5wt oil. If someone put something thick in them they will get real harsh in the chattery stuff.

Well I have done some work to the Taz. I hung some power steering (see pics), made some adjustments to my seat for better posture, I have also been working with Dennie at Foddrills regarding my suspension. We decided to get some more droop so I changed out some of the springs, now my question is, What nitrogen pressures should I start off with on the front and rear Fox 2.0 shocks. I am reading like 40 psi on the left rear(I think I accidentally let out pressure last year when trying to get a reading), 100 psi on right rear, 100 psi on left front and 140 psi on right front ? thanks

I made my own. Regulators are easy to find, and I used the yellow HVAC hose, and a Schrader fill tool meant for airplane struts. I think it is the same as fox.
Amazon has everything you need for decent prices.
I got the bottle from the local weld shop. It was something around 100-150. 15 bucks for a refill, and I don't have to worry about recert of the tank, etc.

It's called a schrader strut coupler. I took out the copper washer and replaced it with a flat o ring, so no wrench required.
The hose was a uniweld magic barrier hose. Its rated for 800 psi, 4000 burst, so plenty good.
I bought a couple flare fittings to adapt to the hose as well, which makes it quick to pull apart for travel. I also have different chucks I can use for airing tires, etc.
