    Cool
hey guys over the last year my buddy and i bought a motorcycle
    IMG-20151211-WA0000.jpg

with the idea to build a simple trike just to mess around on, however this never happened after the bike sat around for like a month we decided it should be a far more rediculous machine and so started looking for the smallest, lightest and most idiotic car we could find (for cheap of course), witch turned out to be this thing...
    IMG-20151123-WA0006.jpg

after is sat around for another month we started work i dont have any photos from when we started building but basically we cut out everyting in the back of the car leaving just the bumper in place and the points where te non-driven rear end used to be mounted witch we asumed were some solid points to start building from. first thing wedid was hanging the engine in place since everyting woud be built around it.

This is a micro car these are pretty common here in holland and they are rated to go max 45km/h. They are meant for people with dissabilitys and you can drive them with a moped licence so they are commonly used by young people, because you can get your moped licence at 16 an you have to be 18 to drive a car

    but to contineu my post........
now that we had an axle and some bearings to mount it all we tunrned it back into a roller IMG-20160430-WA0012.jpg now that was done we started thinking about drive train, since the engine is right on top of the axle there was an engine in the way for the chain so i decided i needet to bring the drive sprocket outwards so i turned down the original sprocket that came with it and welded the center into a piece of round stock that i made to fit IMG_20160125_172550.jpgIMG_20160125_172558.jpg i also figured it needed an extra carrier bearing IMG-20160202-WA0002.jpg now that was in order we made a mounting plate for the bearing and threw the whole assembly in thereIMG_20160220_153321.jpg going to a next post since apparently you can oly post 5 pics per post.

IMG_20160220_153345.jpg after we had this stuff done it sat for a few months because we where focussing on an enormous event called 'de zwarte cross' wich is a giant festival in holland involving all kinds of crazyness on an MX-track with a giant music festival attached to it with like 30 different stages. anyway after we were don playing and partying we pulled the microcar out of the corner and decidet it was going to need a cage since the preveous owner turned it into a convertible and hadnt even welded the doors shut. IMG-20160501-WA0002.jpg20160808_184515.jpg with that done it was time to go and do wireing the car and trying to fire up the engine so we improvised a fuel tank and started turning it over IMG_20160430_172335.jpg20170602_204059.jpg and to our amazement it fired up allthough it ran poorly thanks to no airbox and practicaly no exhaust but it ran so we were super stoked

by now it was time to start apllying for next years 'zwarte cross' because people from all over holland and belgium want to enter in this event and only a few get through selection wich is about building the most originall and crazy vehicle you can come up with. luckily we got selected and the deadline was set for july 13 2017. i had to come with a fuel tank that wouldnt spill all of my gasoline so found a piece off alluminium square tube welded some end plates and a fillercap to it and bolted it on the cage above the engine, since im not to sure how i would connect a fuel pump to these carbs.

after this i startted on making an exhaust
