Ok, so I have been promising pics of this thing for quite awhile now, and my puter is acting all stupid on me. I am about what I think 85% done, but my last 15% is killin me. I am realizing that I am in way over my head. I built everything you see here other than the actual chassis. The front and rear suspension are all mine. I am by no means a buggy builder, and now I know why. I have all my hard parts, and plan on spending the majority of this week, and weekend gettin git somewhat all buttoned up, and at least get the motor fired, and get the Turbo back on. I have more pics I will send up tonight. Should be staying here to work, but the dentist is calling my name in the morning, and I am going to chill tonight. (or hide in the closet, til the old lady makes me go) Be easy on me it is my first build....

    Looks good!

Building buggies always looked easy to me too, but looks are certainly deceiving. I'm glad you got this far. Most people would still be staring at a pile of parts they have collected over time. Oh wait, that's how my build went for the first 15 years.

I'd like some detail on the rear carrier design. On the rear arms do you have additional bracing in mind and is so, describe/show that. Also would like to see some front on views showing spindles, inclination, etc.

Looks good and Phil is right on. Pile of parts vs a build is a big deal.

I will snap some shots of the spindles. I am building my steering rods today, and will have the front end complete. I am so close, and my motivation seems to have stalled on me. It is crazy. I want this thing to run so bad, but it is all the little things that take the most time. Hell I spent 2 hours just getting the throttle cable to work. As far as the inclination of the kingpin, and my spindles go, it is going to be a trial and error kind of thing. I rad alot of the articles on here and still had no clue, but I ran with a combination of a couple different designs. I kept everything parallel, meaning my a-arms, and my tie rods, so I will see if that stops bump steer. Fingers crossed...

My rear carrier is a King Sand Cars K-Drive. I am using it as a stress member in the chassis to give myself a little more room in the cradle. This is going to be a temporary unit as I really want to do V-Tec, or something similar. I am all about the bike motor, but I want some torque too.

    Looking good, stick with it

Seems like when you get the rollcage done,,,,,start thinking, looks good,,, ok we are almost done
Not even close , the last 25% is the fussy, time consuming part of the build.
Next build,,,,I fool myself again,,,,rollcage, looks good ok we are almost done
    & the story repeats itself.
But it is all so worth it, and if you are enjoying yourself then
