    My Harbor Freight mini lathe finally gave up on me so I bought a new Grizzly G0602 lathe. I love the new lathe but I'm already considering upgrading it to variable speed.

    No room left in the garage, so buying a lathe would force me to pull the trigger on building a shop. I essence, an el-cheapo lathe would still cost me over $5,000. Therefore, I can't have a lathe. But, I can dream about it.
