Been wanting to replace my old miller syncro for a while , has served me well for 20 yrs, and i love it . So when i heard the local uni were getting rid of all their millers to update to new ones i thought i would wander up and have a looky .

They were all snapped up pretty quick when i got there so i had a snoop around and out the back under a blanket was a newer better version of mine that i think they forgot about , it was covered in dust but i could see the thing had barely fired a shot , the dude i was talking to did not know much about it so i said i will give you 2 grand for it he said that sounds good i have just been told to get rid of them .

I could not get the cash out fast enough , got it back to the shop blew the dust off and out of it and it is like new .

To by new out here would be close to 10 k

    Merry x mas to me

Doubt it bud ,feels just like the old girl ,bit softer/nicer start up though. Think the points on the old one were melting again.

Cant say i have ever had an issue with the HF on the old synco, been such a good unit.

Adjust the points a few times a year and give it a good blow out and thats it,although i did get really lazy once and the points were pretty much gone.

Go through a couple of torches a year mainly because we use the smallest ones we can get away with.

Water coolers however seem to poop the bed too often
The pumps seem to not like running all day every day and then sitting over the x mas break.come back to 3 x siezed pumps every January.

We cnc machines that they forced us to shut down over holiday. IF they started back up, always a problem.

Hmm, you could be a little more consistent around that arc. Can't be due to the difficulty in propping your torch hand...

    Jk! Looking good!
