    Hey All,

I had the unfortunate task of reaming holes in laser cut plates, big mistake . I got halfway through the first plate and crack, chipped two of the blades . The big issue is that I borrowed the reamers from a colleague, with very strict instructions, which I followed. In short, I felt awful and now need to find replacement blades which are apparently available.

Do any of you machinists out there know where to buy J.R. Tools reamer blades?

    Thanks a mill.

Not a replacement tip... But I found the best bet if you need reamed holes in a laser cut plate is to cut the hole much smaller and drill it out. If your reaming a fraction of an inch its a problem, but if you drill a 1/4" hole to 1/2", it seems to go quite easily and its much nicer to tooling
