Welding tips and tricks

I've been getting these vids for years now so I thought I'd start a thread (should have a long time ago) to share the ones that seem buggy related with those who dont get them. Seems like a real cool, down to earth guy. The vids are usually short enough not to put you to sleep, and are filmed pretty good. I'll add them as I get them. Hopefully will help somebody, I know it helps me. I dont want to turn this into a he doesnt know what he's doing/my uncle doesnt do it like that thread. If you dont want to check it out or have something positive to add...Beat it!

that 'weldingtipsandtricks' guy on youtube is great, when I was having trouble TIG welding for my class I watched some of his TIG videos, excellent tutorials on how to weld

Very good Bull. I watched the first one and it makes me want to upgrade to the hand controlled switch and start practicing. Also, I didn't know Kurt Russell could weld as well as act

If you go with a hand control switch, I think the north-south (or push-pull) would be better than the east-west (or dial ) switch. I have the dial and get mixed up every time I switch hands. I'm welding along then go to turn it off and half the time I turn it up. My hands can't seem to remember which way is which (mostly the left hand).

I had the east west roller control on mine ,wore it out and the Cental McRip off sales peddler sold me the up and down control he said they couldnt get the east west.. F''N lier

Man did it take me some time to get used to

But I gota say the control for me was better with the east west .My next one will be the east west , which wont be long..

LOL that reminds me of watchin music vid's .. I turn the boob tube to CMT and mute the volume & Dial in the HiFi to Octaine ... Ya know CMT and country has all the hot chicks on their vids
