Rorty? RORTY Ultralite Dirt Buggies | Dirt Buggies, Mini Buggies, Superlite Buggies, Off-Road Buggies, Sand Rails, Off-Road Karts – By Atkinson Race Technology Pty Ltd I think they probably look the closest to tuts design... well they have a bit of that baja look to them.

Remember that looks aren't everything though, performance is where it counts. I have heard the Rorty plans are really good and that they handle the rough stuff well. I built an Edge barracuda, and my only problem with it is that I am too tall to fit comfortably inside the original design. Other than that, it flies, handles the rough stuff well, and has great handling.

Buying from a "known commodity" is worth it weight in gold... I have seen lots of cars/frames that look really nice, until something breaks... then you find out they are no longer in business, the part that broke is a one-off machined masterpiece made out of unobtainium etc. These type of problems just kill the enthusiasm... just my 2 cents worth.

I will agree with Glamisman. Easy to buy/find/replace parts are so much better. Being across the country and needing a lathe to make a $25 part sucks. KISS

BTW. No way I'd build a 1 seater unless it was just for racing.

I have this one for sale. I realize it's a complete buggy but there's nothing to do but fill it with gas and have fun. I think if you look around on the web you'll find that it's a very solid design and that this buggy in particular has been fully tested

This looks real cool. It is sorta Tut-esque. Was the frame built by him? It's a steal for what it is and what is being asked. You got any specs like wheel base, track width and travel numbers?

I want a 2-seater. If find a frame I like, or build one. I think I'm going to use the engine and suspension ect from my single seater. If that happens, my frame is going on here first. But that's not going to happen for maybe a year.
All you got to do is remember 2 thing, Mentum and Mo-Mentum.
