I thought there was a thread about him selling everything associated with his website. There also seems to be a problem with obtaining all the plate parts. There was a supplier of them when Rorty stopped giving out DXF files to have them cut yourself. I have the Shotgun plans and have been about 70% done now for 2 years, kids take way too much time. I like the car and hope to get it finished some day. At this point I'd stay away from the plans until the plate work and rumors about the website sale go away.

I have the "old" plans, from back when the dxf's were supplied, and had my parts cut locally. Unless major changes were made to the plans and complete drawings were included, then no, you could not build the buggy from the plans.
I remember the switch over happening a few years ago, and it was a board member that was identified as the sole supplier of the plate work.
I haven't really been keeping up with what is happening with the plans, so my information is most likely out of date.

Hi Dromas
I'm the new owner of Rorty. I've only just taken over and we're in the process of rebuilding the website. A holding page and email will be up today.
Happy to answer any questions you have. Bob is in the background too for technical help.
We're also working on the supply of laser cut and machined parts. Details to be sorted and will be on the new site. I've also posted in a couple of other spots which I would link you to if I knew how
Cheers
Christian
