How Many Ridge Runners Were Made?

Just bought a Ridge Runner. Have never even heard of them before and was wondering if anyone knew how many were made? Pretty limited information online except from the Four Wheeler magazine write-up on them. Have been obsessed with getting a mini buggy since I was a kid but it never happened. Came across this one on Craigslist and it is almost like new condition. Hope to get more information on these machines. Thanks

There's some limited info here on this site - but not sure you'll find numbers and such.

They had a pretty decent run - have seen a few here in the Phoenix area over the years and just saw one the other day pulling onto the street.

It's not a bad package and as things get old (fail), upgrading and modifying it is a very viable option.
