There are different ways of doing the front brake lines but thought I would share a closer look on what we do with our front wheel kits and A arm set up.
It can be confusing finding the right fittings and parts the 1st time
On the Wilwood caliper, we plug the original inlet hole with 1/8 NPT plug.
1/8 npt Brass Plug
Then remove the top bleeder and replace it with a -3 to 1/8 NPT fitting.
Brake Line Adapter Fittings
Then we use a 24" 90 deg braided flex line going to a -3 to 3/16 inv flare fitting and a tab welded to the chassis or you can drill a hole in a body panel and clip it
Brake Line Flex- 90 degree 24"
Brake Line Adapter
Brake line adapter Mounting Tabs
Brake Line adapter Clips
from there we hard line it to the 3/4 Master cylinder
Inverted Flare Nuts
Brake Line Coil 3/16
to either of these
Brake Line Adapter Fittings - 90 degree
Brake Line Adapter Fittings
Kfab, would it be possible to add a how to / help section under the Protodie build section?
Just thinking it would be a good place for some of the misc questions specifically referencing our plans and buggy builds

good point Bull.
there are bleeders on top and bottom, with the exception of the one I removed.
This is now the inlet where the oil is coming from though so should not be able to trap air there.
I should add that when I bleed them I do not even have them mounted on the front upright.
I take a small piece of 3/8 thick steel, put it between the pads and run some electrical tape around it to keep it in place.
This makes it easier for me to have the caliper over a catch can and not get brake fluid on other parts while bleeding the brakes

The front brakes hook up to the 3/4 master cylinder.
What hooks up to the 7/8 master cylinder?Last edited by Beruba; 04-23-2014 at 10:07 PM. Reason: Typo

I run 7/8 on the clutch.
so two 3/4 master cylinders for the brakes and 7/8 for the clutch
