    Finally making progress in our design and development. We will be documenting and photographing our entire build from AutoCAD to turn key. Check later this week for our CAD dwg. No 2000 lb. box cars here !!

    I like things that move. Pretty much limits me to cars and strippers.

    how well do you like your plunging axles on that sinister car ???? how many have you broke or ripped trailing arms off ??? ive heard horror stories, but still interested. are these used to reduce weight, cost, or ease off maint. ???

    I'm Sinister Sand Sports, the manufacturer, Federal is my distributor.

    We build our plunging u-joint axles, i've used them for over 3 years now, never had one break, except when a customer didn't adjust his limit straps and heard the clicking for 5 days (over extending any joint for the right amount of time will break it). I've also sold quite a few sets to people, as well as another builder, and they love them..

    I use them to get the travel numbers I want, they are machined to 40 degrees, we set the limits at 33 degrees, and standard 930's start clicking at 24 degrees, so it's all about the travel in my case.....
