If your thermostat works cooling is is a safety margin. Bigger is better.

I have gone twins with clean air.

    And dual fans even…
I’ll see if I can squeeze the civic radiator in between the cage tubes.

Biggest issue is airflow. On a street bike configuration, the radiator is directly in front of the bike and it also has the fairings to direct the airflow as well (most not all bikes). Once you move the motor and cooling source to the rear of the buggy airflow is reduced greatly and accommodations for location and size need to be made. I went with twin Civic radiator with fans and will be having scoops added to my body panels to direct more airflow to the rear as well.

I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!

Edit: After cycling the arms, it looks like I’ll be able to get 11-12” travel in the rear; which more or less matches the front.

    Column crossbar tacked in.

Tested the KLR cooling fan and it works. I’m leaning toward an 05-06 Kawasaki zzr600 radiator as that bike puts out over double the HP of the KLR, is considerably larger, and also a nice size with a curve (albeit smaller than the civic radiator) with convenient inlet and outlet.

    Thanks.
No pics yet, but I’ve made a few small shock brackets for the rear.
