So I ditched the CBR954RR engine and just finished ordering a slew of parts to put this together...a little different for me, but should be fun!

    Let the fun begin!!!

Your first step, after you get the engine mounted, should be disconnecting the low oil sensor. That caused me a bunch of grief (engine cutting out on corners) before I figured it out.

yeah gotta pull that and the governor...hoping for the time being to call it quits at that. I've got another motor coming that I'm hoping to build up a tiny bit to swap in after I get the kinds worked out.

Step 1, put in smaller engine. Step 2, make engine more powerful. Step 3, put larger engine back in? I kid kid.

I think there was someone on this site that used the same engine on an old FL250 odyssey. It was pretty torquey, he was doing donuts in the grass with it.

I really think the sweet spot for this buggy is going to be around 50lbs/50hp. In the end, though, the CBR engine wasn't very well suited to what I was doing and the stock engine was borked so I work with what I got

I think this will be pretty neat, though.
