What's funny is I missed one side, and said screw it and plowed through the other side so at least I'm consistently wrong.

They articulate +-20 degrees. But the useable range is less, i cant say yet how much.

But, due to the length and the angle the total travel without modification is around 12", which is a few inches more than I need on this car.

Say a guy wanted to get as much articulation as possible, What would you guys recommend?

I would have thought there would be a spreadsheet of matrix or database that has the MFG, part, Usable articulation, maximum articulation and rating on their quality. I say rating over cost because costs change. Heck, I'd put it all together in a nice place for a post-it if you'll fed me what you know...

there is a sheet on the internet I think if you look up everything you wanted to know about CVs or something like that, I believe 930s you can get 28 degrees but don't quote me on that

So how about UTV CV joints? there's a whole 'nother world out to choose from now, K' you have a modified RZR joint? I thought I saw some angles that you were showing that were crazy, will they take power at the extreme?

It seems that the non-plunging CV on the inside with the F150/Intrepid hub on the outside setup gives the best bang for the buck and is stronger than UTV stuff (which are both a surprisingly strong and have large articulation angles).

I don’t know if the pix are working but take a look at flyerrider’s Ragnar the Whoop Eater thread. He was planning on using this setup.

Justin T’s (can’t recall his name here, so used to his real one on Facebook...) car uses this setup too.
