Hey guys not sure why i never posted my 2 seater build. It took 5 months for the initial test drive and now we are about two years in and the mods/upgrades keep going. Quick overview this was supposed to be a quick engine swap in a chinese buggy that morphed into something a bit more than that. The buggy started out life as a Roketa GK-06 with an engine doner from a 2010 Ninja 650r. After a bit of thought i decided i wanted something i can ride all year round and something that could fit in our tight rocky trails. Anyway here is a boat load of pics.

And I think this might be some kind of a record for a photo dump!

Really cool work! Were the A arms breaking separate incidents or just one? I couldn't tell by the order of the pictures I saw. What do you think it weighs all said and done? They look like some fun trail rigs for sure.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I love all the work, boxing in cab, the climate controls, rebuilding the suspension etc.

Did i see it right and you made your own stub axles by turning down some vw tranny conversion cups and welded them to a splined shaft? That's exactly what I was thinking of doing. I was wondering about the weldability of the steel cups before dropping coin on them.

I was wondering how long that cheap gearbox was going to hold up, before it grenades and it gets swapped out. Looks like you splurged on a RPM box right after that. So how deep $$$ are you into this?
