    Hello all
Started building the MiniTruggy for the smaller gran kids, ran into a frustrating snag today. Plans call for 170% down angle on the front upper rail , had to adjust the measurement on the 45% degree section for it to come out right not realizing the degree was off. The upper flat section is supposed to be 5" higher. now after 4 or 5 hours I get to start over and try to figure out what the angle is supposed to be . I guess that"s what I get for following plans

Well bummer haven't heard back from longtravel yet, I had bought the plans a couple years ago off ebay in PDF form. Did a little mocking it up and it looks like the 170% should be about 150% but still can't get the 20" measurement between the two 135% bends unless I change it to about 140% which moves the dash-cockpit back a couple inches . I may have to do a total redraw using the base as reference

Post a pic of the page, I can throw it into cad and get you correct numbers.

Thanks for the offer, I think you would need the full plans and pictures to get it correct , there is no scaled drawing of the whole buggy from side or top , part on each page . the two pages that show this upper rail top and side view are 1:7 scale and the degree called out matches the drawing, all the rest of drawings that show that front down angled part are 170%. Not sure what the heck they were doing making these plans they don't match the few pictures that came in the plans. It will be easier for me just to draw it up full size making the corrections and maybe a few changes

Made a few changes , should give it a little better lines on the nose when finished , as far as I can tell from plans I'm about 2" lower, 2" narrower , and about 1-1/2" longer on the upper section. engine is a predator 212 with 30 series CVT

Made some progress , Had to see what it looked like on the ground plus I was curious if I could fit in it and I can , I'm 6' 200 lbs , no leg room though but it will be perfect for the smaller kids . Done till next weekend
