If you have ever had the oil pan off, there are some small tubes that route the oil around. Someone a lot smarter than myself has figured out that the oil being fed to the crankshaft and the #3 rod is insufficient and figured out how to reroute it so it is fed much better. I'm running the zx11 in my buggy and as soon as I decided to run a turbo, I started finding weak links. I've rebuild 1 engine twice and another engine once. I can vouch that the bypass oil pan works. It doesn't look like mrturbo.com is working anymore which is to bad. There was good info on his website.
All you got to do is remember 2 thing, Mentum and Mo-Mentum.

Interesting modification to the chaincase! I'm curious to see if it will take abuse... I did a similar modification to an old Polaris Trail Boss FNR but I was only feeding 20hp into the unit.

so the chaincase didn't last very long. As soon as we would want to accelerate hard it would slip into reverse the chain didn't like that and it broke. We don't know why it was slipping out of gear.

    Bummer!
There’s an RPM for sale on the FB MBN Page for a very reasonable price.

Just a heads up ... the RPM gearbox on FB MBN might not be setup for motorcycle engines....I thot I read some posts in that thread that said it wasn't geared for motorcycle engines...from the maker of the box..

Dan RobertoA few corrections: the space between the flanges is 8" not 8.5" and the CVT boxes are good for 200HP. I do not do the 3.9 ratio any more as that was for a specific client. This box cannot be re-geared for lower than 6 to 1 and should not be used with motorcycle engines as these gears are not made for the torque coming out of 'cycle gearbox. Any other questions can be sent to: buildforspeed2000@yahoo.com or www.rpmgearboxes.com
