nice, very innovative setup, I will be curious on how the chain drive holds up.
some things that may or may not be an issue, chains when turning corners tend to make heat, you have alot of corners and with the chain enclosed will it have enough airflow to shed more hear than it produces? if there was a way to male the chain case oil tight you could run it with an oil bath and a small cooler.
one other thing about chains, last year in some wet sand I stretched a section of chain, I am also using the good chain, I believe the same as you are, on the street if you decide to bang gears beware.
