Off topic but how the heck do I get nice big pics like fatboy1214 does a few posts up? Mine pics are hidden till I log in... annoying. I would like to link to Google drive but gives me an error when I try. Do I need a pic server? If so what is a good free one?

I also tried to use Google drive, but wasnít able to get it figured out..

    F Photobucket..

Imgur is the photo service that I used, worked great on mobile, iPad, and on my laptop.

Bullís right, the forum is a little slow these days, but I think a lot of people are still following along looking for new builds like this. Youíve already gotten some great people out of the woodwork, keep it up!

Yeah, the guy that posted right after me with the word wizard next to his name can tell you more about suspension design than Dr. Porsche could!

He likes pictures of pistachios and liquor in plastic cups.

I don't think the high end buggies have zero camber change in the rear. Maybe the wizard can come back out of the woodwork.

    PB still works for me.

I read the guy that effed it up got fired and now its kinda sorta back to normal. As normal as it was anyway.

Camber change is more preference. Having driven both I like camber change. 15* isn't too much if you have long enough arms. Trying to extract all the travel you can out of short arms leads to a lot of compromises.

Hey Turbostew, I think this will be a very sweet build and I look forward to seeing it progress.

I am currently one of those silent followers as Bullnerd mentioned but I figured why not step in a bit and keep the forum going. Iíve gained too much great info here, hate to see it slow down. I will be following your build!

Please tell me why you like the camber change, other than the typical road car theory about keeping sidewalls off the pavement in a corner, but real world offroad experience. Does +4 over stock VW with 15" travel sound like adequate arm length?

It's how they corner. The rear feels much more planted with camber gain. Some people like to slide the backend around like Robby Gordon but I prefer traction and drive out of the corner.

    Corvairs had to much though.........

With +4 arms toe change should be pretty minimal. Just about every SXS out there has toe change in the rear.

AWESOME!!! Another build! It is so cool to see built cars in a sea of SXS cars.
Can't wait to see more of this.

trick to the pics in the threads is to upload direct from your computer like normal, then go into the post in edit mode, and in another browser tab go in the thread and open the picture. Copy the picture's url and paste it into the edit mode "insert image" with the url option. that way you can put it into the text where you want as well. size of original pic will dictate size in thread, go to big and it'll run the forum off the right side of the screen and make us all scroll to read LOL.
