Hey, you don't look like your avatar pic. What gives? All this time I've been envisioning that duck working away. (:

Judging buy the school uniform he’s wearing in his avatar, I would guess that’s a grade school picture.

TALON informs me that I need a boat or webbed feet when we come to visit (16 days and counting) as you guys (at least the Ballarat area) have been getting a lot of rain.

I guess the old nursery rhyme “April showers brings may flowers” doesn’t apply for you?
I thought that Mayflowers brought pilgrims to the States…

Great work! Must be a weight off your shoulders to get it running! I'm feeling a little relieved myself! What was the final straw that was stopping it from running?

I stopped working on it for a few days and let my brain catch up. As always laying in bed trying to sleep and I remembered I read you can read the fault codes by bridging two wires in the diagnostic plug! BINGO! Code C28 (secondary throttle).

I found the shaft had locked up a bit and the little motor was not able to actuate it. A mix of red dust and not moving for so long I guess.

After that it fired up piss easy. I'm not sure how many other 2004 to 2006 loom, throttle body's and ECU conversions are in the world but I'm the owner of one of them.

Which brings me to the Mrniceguy. What a superstar this guy is! He would have easily spent 3 or 4 hours helping me achieve this miracle.
He even sent me a pair of Billabong shorts as packing material that not only fit but will be added to this summer's rotation (No I'm not joking).

    So hears to you Mrniceguy!

Glad I could help! Of all the things to stop it from running! I was sure I had mixed up the clutch and start wires somehow.

The kill wires don't stop it though. I hooked them up to stop it and it just keeper on running. Lucky main power being cut stops it. Lol

Time to update your thread with the crazy nut case motor your putting in!
