    Small but good update.

The 2004 wiring loom and throttle body's have been removed.
Mrniceguy sold me his 2005/6 loom, ecu, throttle body's and I'm also going to need the airbox.

The head spacing was different by 10mm for the throttle body's and the dia is up buy 2mm. Mrniceguy mailed me the head to TB rubbers for free after I found I needed them. Such a superstar!

Anyway the TB needed some help to fit. Bad words said. More bad words.Once fitted the loom all plugged in. Hooked up power up and shock and surprise the dash light up! YAY!!!!

So few more things like fuel pump, fuel lines and clutch switch and it might just start.

Odds are not, but it's aleast a ray of hope. Fingers, toes crossed.

Edit thanks for being part of my build. It's not a fancy build by any means but it's mine. MB forever!

So with a bit more wiring completed I've now got a fuel pump that primes and holds pressure. I sent poor Mrniceguy a heap more questions and a request for the 2005/6 airbox.

Once the airbox arrives it should be easy enough to fit. From there all should be ready for a test start. An exciting but also scary prospect.

    Progress!!!!

That's saying a lot more than I can about the MR. And yes, it's still taunting me but I've a project (new post just made) that I'm deep into right now. Lemme finish it first.

If I get the motor running it's progress. Odds are all I'm doing is making a fancy looking paperweight a bit more fancy.

Took some time out on wiring diagrams and misery to do a fun job.

Cost $12 and a few hours.

The joy of building it. Priceless.

    Excellent looking piece.

There is satisfaction from making something outta not much, isn’t there.

I like it. Seeing yours come together gets me thinking about motorcycle engine power again, and shifting.
