    Thanks Mikah.
I will check that as I would use rotor purchased from a local shop.

    Cheers.

Well, got some more work done but it took me longer than hoped (as is the norm). I probably went a bit overboard with the Brake Caliper modeling, but this is still "fast and sloppy" modeling compared to what we normally do so it's hard to break the habit!

Good news is I now have reverse engineered all the critical pieces so I can design the uprights. The only tricky bits I see right off are getting enough space to get to the wheel hub mount bolts. The caliper mount bracket is nice and tidy with the hub mount flange so should be nice and strong, but I think it might get a little bit tight in there. The pads are a touch wider than the surface of the rotor but they are nicely centered so should work fine, will just wear a little funny!

Also depending on the diameter of the back face of the wheel I may need to run some small (1/4" or so) wheel spacers to ensure clearance.

Also, I will use this particular post to start building a library of 3D CAD models to share. All are STEP files and all are use-at-your-own risk!

    Nice cad work!

I lost track of which is which, does he need the spacer between the stub and hub?

Thank you, and yes looks like I will need a spacer otherwise the splines would bottom out. Would probably go together well once, then be permanent!
