    I'm 90% sure Stand was running an 8:1, like you have.
    other than the clutches, we were running the same drivetrain, tires, trans.

    Yeah that sounds right. It topped out right around 96mph with the STM clutches on.

    My experience with buggies has not been a boring one, that's for sure.

    I've realized that I can't commit financially to desert racing like I had hoped when I bought the Taz. With a wedding 5 months out and likely a family on the way, it's not in the cards right now. So I've decided to put the Taz up for sale. Planning to replace it with a "golf cart" that my other half is comfortable driving which will allow me to spend more time on the KTM.

    If anyone is interested, send me a DM. I'll post a listing soon. I did manage to get current street legal registration in AZ, willing to deliver to AZ if needed.

    JD- "ok, babe, I'll sell it and get a golf cart so your happy and I can die on a dirtbike like Flyguy"

    Bullnerd- "are you comfortable in my gokart hunny?"
    Bullnerd BH- "no, its too small and no where to put my wine glass"
    Bullnerd- "good! Get back in the kitchen and make me a sandwich!"

    @studio, thanks!

    @bullnerd, hahaha. From the data points I have so far, I'm much safer on a dirt bike than Mr. Fly! His wife almost gave me his dirt bike after I brought him home from AZ last year

    You. Both. Suck.

    And, for that record, the wife goes before the bikes do!

    (and the only reason I can say that here because she will never know!)

    .........And now my "friends" are going to blackmail me
