Next time my brother sees me he's allowed to beat me about the head and shoulders with a stick.

Someone (me) pulled all the spaghetti hack wiring (his work) out of his X3 and did a real wire harness for lighting, radio, accessories for it and when that said someone put everything back together the moron forgot to tighten the ground to the battery. Lasted about 2/3rds of the race and cost him a definite second place. Said he was dogging 1st place and suddenly the car went dark. Oops.

I think we have all done that at one point or another... I had that happen to me in the middle of the night running up China Wall in Glamis... Middle of the hill is not where you want to troubleshoot problems in the dark!!

    I'll agree on that one!
First time I met China Wall was about 1:00 a.m. on a very poorly lit YZF426 (had a "lighting" system on it) from the top. I rolled over the edge and it just kept going and going and going down. All I could see was the faded to black diamond shaped light pattern that reached about 30 feet out in front of me.

I must have gone over the bars a dozen times that night - man it was fun! One of my best times there.

Jay from ATV Racing was on the shop 400EX (that thing ripped - even though it was a quad) and I was on the bike. We got out to Ogilby about midnight, had a snack and took off. Got back to camp around 3:30. It was my 5th or 6th time there so I was completely green and (correctly) timid and still in total awe of the place. Jay knew the place like the back of his hand so it was good.

I have had many a good times there, also sent/drove many friends to the hospital there as well... I do miss it though. Just not the Kommifornia enforcement that has taken over the place. Go on an off weekend and it's heaven!!! I have ridden almost everything there except for a SXS... Mini-buggy, many quads, dirt bikes, GXSR power golf carts ( I built) ATC's, and my Pre-Runner Truck.

If you're going to have air conditioning, you must have power windows.

Temporary slot for the window - it uses a flat pane and I'm waiting on the channel so I can get things fully dialed in.

Overall quite pleased with the way they work - and they weren't too terribly expensive off of Fleabay. Street Rod Flat Glass Power Windows

Clicky on da linky and ----> watch the video <---- (ooooh, aaahhh) No clue why I can't get it posted...

I also have my condenser for the air conditioning system on order - another Fleabay item that goes right along with the Jeep radiator I got off of Fleabay. I gotta stay off the internet...

Look what came home! WOO HOO!!!!

They forgot to send a bottle of oil. The stuff must be magic too - $107.74 for a liter (litre) - it's on the way. Rotrex is VERY specific about using it too.
