Here it is with a fresh coat of paint . My driveway was my paint booth. The paint job turned out better than I expected.

    The blue looks great!

I keep thinking I should save up for a Jeffco reverse/diff box, but I could get something done a lot faster without it. When you are out in the sand, how often do you wish you had a differential or reverse?

Sand is not so bad, the parking lot is where you want it. Dirt is hell, I hate getting out and pushing! I am thinking of doing an electric starter motor reverse.

Looks like the project is going to slow down for a few months.
I need to come up with a down payment to buy a house, I have a baby coming in November, and the holidays are right around the corner.

I am almost done cleaning up and painting the 919 engine. There's probably a few weekends of wiring and some other little stuff that I can do without having to spend any money. I will stay plenty busy with my project kfx400. Not too sure if i'm ready to start sanding, painting, polishing, and cleaning though.
l will post some pictures of the engine by next friday, hopefully sooner.

Ok, baby is born and summer is right around the corner!
Its time to Start working on the buggy again, Since my last post I have bought a 170 amp mig welder and have been practicing welding. After going through about 10 lbs of wire I got the nerve up to fab some motor mounts. I know you guys are picture junkies so I will go through the steps to upload some later. I wish there was an easy way to upload from my phone, currently I have to open each picture in an app and compress the image. let me know if there is an easier way .
Anyways I got the motor in finally and am now at the fun part, the wiring harness. I cut the stock harness open and figured out what goes where. I am going to be installing an Rfid keyless ignition with a Start button. luckily I have a 97 So there are no diodes or security to work around. Only the kickstand and clutch switch as far as I can tell .
I need a radiator as the one that came with it is curved and was damaged. I think a Civic radiator from Feebay will work nicely . OK that's all for now . Pictures coming Soon .

    Congrats on the kid.

I cant see the earlier pics, but its probably my crappy computer.

I am no phone expert, but I was able to load my last few pics from Photobucket pretty easily, didnt have to compress anything.

Weird - I can't open any of the attached pix you've posted - but I see they've been looked at many times.

To post pix, upload them to Photobucket, (try to keep them 800 pixels or less in width), then use icon that looks like little envelope with a mountain on it. That will bring up a box. Copy the URL of the pic from PB (highlight your address bar CTL A, then hit CTL C to copy it). Put the address (CTL V) in the box and hit okay. It'll post up your pix instead of linking/attaching them.
