Mini 'Raptor' trophy truck build...with Polaris RZR drivetrain and Yamaha APEX sled engine w/MPI super charger. Need it legal for the WI state trails which limits width to 65", but I am dreaming about a 70"+ version for the desert too. The body on this one is the bulk of the project, and the main challenge, anyone that's ever attempted to build molds (plugs) from scratch will understand! After that, I'm really 'cheating' a bit on the fab by minibuggy standards...the frame will require a good bit of fab, but everything else is pretty much bolt on Polaris or aftermarket parts available for the RZR's. This one is 64" track and wheelbase from 85" min to 90" max, depends how much you encroach the bedsides on the cab. I am going 87". It will fit up to 30" tires. I scaled/detailed it the best I could to the Ford Raptor body and really used the luxury prerunner 'Raptors' built by Stewart's Raceworks to get the 'trophy truck' style.

Been there. Completely gutted and reconditioned a sail boat. Lived in fiberglass for over a year. I got where I would grind glass in a pair of shorts and flip flops. I itched for so long that I just got over it and the stuff wasn't itchy any longer. I can assure you that laughing at a woman that is itchy in bed purely because of me, was not a wise thing to do!
What you are doing is such a cool idea. I am impressed and jealous! We all look forward to more photos.

Thanks Bullnerd! Here's the full size $500K version, I'm modeling it after, owned by the TSCO race team; and they have 2 of them
LOL, I get EVERY word you are saying...so does my gfLike a fool, I was celebrating after the foam work, that stuff is nasty too, but oh the glass is a whole other level of pain.
Thanks for the interest guys!

WOW!!!
that's pretty much all I can come up with...
WOW!!!
RE the drive train - is the Polaris stuff going to be able to handle the hp the Apex is going to make? (great engine selection, btw - I love those things!)
