Fox Air 2.0 front and rear. Emulsion shock will need a spring to hold up buggy.

For a light buggy, a 1.5:1-2:1 or more lever ratio is common. Do you plan on building a suspension with 24" of wheel travel?

Where are you at in Michigan? I have a used pair of Bilstein 7100 Series shocks that gave 16" of wheel travel on the front of a Drakart Formula Cross. They are coil over, 2 1/4" ID springs with remote reservoirs.

They gave 12.5" wheel travel when used on this setup:

    The springs on that setup are 12" 80 in/lb 2 1/4" ID.

If you are doing a small buggy with say 12" travel, then a 6" travel shock at a 2:1 lever ratio is a good setup.

Since your Dad already has the 350, you might just consider getting another as a base. Even if you have your own ideas for customization, it is far easier to make the one change with everything else working. You can then apply the ideas that work out to an entire build later.
