Hey guys, I'm Keith. I started using this site for research a while ago and finally signed up a few months ago. This will be my first post. About 2.5 years ago I bought a frame off of craigslist for 500 bucks that also had nice tires, wilwood brakes, a dash, CV's, sprockets and some miscellaneous stuff as well (PIC). My wife and I had planned on moving from Petoskey back to the Muskegon area where she is from, and I wanted to have a nice little buggy to play in the dunes. The progress has been a lot slower than I thought, but it is coming along nicely now. The pics are from about 2 years ago now, when I cleaned the frame up a little bit and started ordering some parts. The engine is a 2007 gsxr 600cc. Shocks are Fox Airs 10in in the front and 14 I believe in the back No pic of those right now. Corbeau seat and 4 point harness. Aluminum fuel tank with the stock fuel pump. Civic Radiator with an aluminum shroud. I'll get some more recent pics when I can get down there again. Unfortunately my childhood dreams of being an engineer were dashed when the auto industry was tanking and I thought I might never get the job I wanted. So instead I got a Doctorate in pharmacy and have to get help working on my projects until I can learn myself. So anyway I got the help of my good buddy's dad who owns a shop and races stadium trucks ( I attached a pic of his truck too, just because its so frickin cool). As it sits now I am waiting for the wiring to get done so we can fire it up. Hopefully sometime this summer I will finally be driving it!

PS This frame I was told was originally from a guy in Lansing. Im assuming it was just a home build, but if someone recognizes the design or where it might have come from I would really like to know the story! I hope my pictures work.

Sweet buy on the frame and other parts, thats alot of work just to build all that totally worth 500 bucks. Nice shop too, I wish I had that much room.

Check out Protodie's video's on youtube. I believe that this buggy was up and racing at one time at Bob's Raceway... before he parted it out...

Damn, that might be Bugpacs old car!
Can you post a pic of the mounting plates that hold that big chunk of aluminum that has the drive sprockets on it?I made the plates for Bug and can tell if I see them.I know he had those tires.
If it is,thats a Rorty R5,his earlier single seat plans.

Wow! Thanks for the help so far. I will post a pic as soon as I get back over to the shop. Do they still race at Bobs? I think that would be so much fun! I'm down that way quite a bit anyway.

I'll bet that is Bugpac's old car. I think that he did part some of it out.
