    Mini buggy frame

Hello. I have been looking around for a mini buggy frame to start a project, and i havent had much luck. I've looked at the MINI LITES frames and decided they were bigger than i wanted. I would like a single seater that i can fit a CBR 660 or 1000 in. I'm trying to stay within a budget so i cant go and spend 2-3k on a frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Have you thought of buying plans and building your own frame. It will cost you less than buying a complete frame

If you have the tools or a friend or work place that has them, go the plans and build your own route. I've only built 1 buggy ( so far,) and had to out lay a bit of extra cash for the tools required to build it... but now I have them tools it heavily cuts down on the cost of any other builds i do in the future, and once you po you can't stop. Well designed plans are a bargain and raw steel is pretty economic, so if you got the know how and some tools already. Plans and build the way to go....Plus you pretty much got every one on this site as a brains trust if you need some advise during your build.

    This is too big??

My single seat halls butt with my 600cc and I would think you wouldn't want to go smaller but actually bigger for safety if your going a 1,000cc engine..
Plus frames are only 800.. suspension and parts you can do yourself or I have it.

Anyways.. just wanted to answer you as part of good customer service.. please email me or contact me if you like.

I know you can contact Protodie he does some great single seaters, also if you want plans contact Rorty his single seater is pretty small.. I have seen it in person built by a couple guys.
That could be what your looking for.

Then if you want small and light your looking at the Badland buggies plans those are small.. RickS does some nice upgrades and beautiful cars from those.

Take a look around the site some more find the car you like in the budget you like and contact the builder of it and the manufacturer or buy the plans etc.

Good luck.. keep us posted on what you decide.

THanks for the info. Now that you compared it to that quad, it doesnt look so big. I'm mostly going to use it down at the dunes and maybe a little desert riding in the backyard. What engine would you suggest for the single seater? I wanna go fast, but not so fast i can't dune with it. Thanks
