I have made significant progress but have not updated the log for a while, first things first though, get it running.

All I need to do for a test run is get the axels done, but....if you look at the pictures I am posting the stubs are in question.
    1. There are 20 splines, cant figure out where those came from
    2. No holes drilled for the castle nut cotter pins
    3. Appears to be unfinished weld on the plate and shaft

Should I just buy all new parts to match up to 930 or 934?
    What used 20 splines?

In and out burger trays make great part trays

Man, that is literally the very first design I had for my driveline when I first started, I have made significant changes and stopped running u-joint axles many many years ago.

The weld is not unfinished, the inside is not welded, only the outside on that design.

The threaded end for the castle nut should have ones side drilled for a cotter pin, the other side I just started welding the nut to the shaft on the inside as there was no reason to remove the nut on both sides.

I would highly suggest changing out the rear end for my 930 stubs and running 930 cv's instead of the u-joint axles.

I believe the bearing carriers are the same and the outside steal piece are the same (although I now have them machined out of a solid piece of steal instead of welding the ring on them), so you should only need my 930 stubs, which will replace the long shaft and the inner mount and allow you to run 930's.
