If the picture is the new setup it would not give me comfort. The angle is significant and it appears to be the type intended for slow rotation, like a farm implement.

What will you do if this one fails?

No, on the pic is old broken joint, the new one is still under construction, and the angle is not so inclined when run

Way to go on the build.. nice. Sorry about the parts but that is all part of the build. You build and learn and you will improve on the weak part and fix it and have it back up and running soon.

Me I like a new build for the challanges it brings and the fun of the build. I like to try new things.. yes they may not work but thats ok that is why I am trying new things to see what does or does not work.
You can always find a way to improve or fix something. But not everyone can build a buggy. You did.

Yes do to probably cost of parts or parts on hand you used that part.. it broke and you will either upgrade, improve on or buy a bigger part. It happens. The point is you can always improve once you have atleast built the buggy there is always room to grow. That is a huge part of the reason I build buggies. I like that challange and the building and growing of a buggy. Shoot one of my cars grew into a race car.. who knew! ha ha.

Very cool let us know how you fix it and keep us posted on how it is holding up etc.
    Nice build, good job.
