The engine came out pretty quickly

Roughly fitting the engine found the same chain issue as the CBR car

However with the r1 engine I cant go any lower. So I decided to mount it off in position and attack the clearance issue later

Going to require custom built headers as the stock ones sit below the engine. The only way around that is to mount the engine up higher. But that makes the chain clearance issue worse, and there also isn't really anywhere to exit the exhaust pipe.

Here is where she sits today 07/01/22. Started on some body work and still have a bit to do on it but quite happy with it thus far. Hoping to be at the first TORC meet at the end of feb.

    Holly shit Michael!

That about covers how I feel. Just wow! To say I'm excited to see how Feb goes is such and understatement.

You just keep kicking ass man. Bulk impressed.

These builds are great, love all the pics. Not much room in those chassis for the engine!
I wish I had put my engine in my rig sooner so that I could build more of the frame around it instead of the other way around!

You just don't understand going into your first build just how much it takes. I've had my eyes opened with my project. Just wish I had of just followed some plans like you've done. Would have saved me so much trouble.

    Very excited for you though.
