Hi guys, im building a piranha buggy, its about 50% now with the front suspension and frame done, going to start on the back in 2 weeks. I got a XR500 motor for very cheap off a bike but i am not sure its going to have enough power for the buggy. Anyone know of someone that has fitted a motor like this in a piranha? Or what do you think? Thanks

An XR500 is a slow motorbike. That motor in a buggy will be ideal for children.

Think im going to trade up to a tl1000 motor, but then im going to have to cut up my frame and make it bigger.

You'll be MUCH happier! Only an increase of around 110 hp...
