    How are the drive shafts holding up? i am curently building a piranha and the pto shafts are alot cheaper for me. Do they hold up?

    Had a ripper day today testing the new engine! Only problem being i had overheating issues with coolant overflowing out the expansion tank. I'm thinking it could possibly be the thermostat not opening. What do you reckon if i completely got rid of it? Temp would just rise really fast into the mid 90's when i wasnt moving.

    Linden. I would advise to go for cv's like i did. Ptos are too weak and i hear of them breaking all the time.

    Okay, thanks, I will look into that. Another option I had was to run automotive universal joints. I've heard they are a lot stronger and are built for higher rpm/s.
