Hi every body im building a piranha buggy in the UK.

I bought a unfinished project off ebay it had about 95% of parts and the cv double a-arm by Doug 2005 Suzuki SV1000s engine in it done 12,000 miles.

The main chassis has been done and roll cage. The middle frame has been made out of tube to comply to road legal specs.

I bought this kit in the start of 2010 so have done a fair bit to it by now

Heres a link to my photobucket page,

    Here are some pics:

This was what it ws like when i first had it.

This is where i am up to at the moment main things to do now are the exhaust and wiring

    Thanks
    Robin

I see a sway bar bushing being used for the steering shaft, How good does that work?

Nice. I haven't seen too many use round tube for the upper frame section. Can't wait to see the finished product. Your work looks really nice!

    Hello Rob,

Nice build and making good progress.
I am building a buggy my selve so i was wondering where have you bought the gaz shocks they look nice. Because i am from the netherlands so the uk is better to buy my skocks then US. So if you have more specs about them that would be nice, things like price and product number .
and what kind of tires do you have on semi street tires ???

    Thanks on the comments

The GAZ shocks do look nice havent actually tryed them yet just need springs but you can just get them from GAZ them selves because they are special order to be long enough for the rear but they are not too much money about 110 i think but i didnt actually buy them they come with the kit
Need the scherical bearings and they are 1/2" hole size

I will look at them to try and find part number for you

I am using Douglas red label rims and kenda font max adn Maxxis Bighorn tyres for the rear i will not be using it street legal the regulations are just too picky over here

    Thanks

I bought all the rims and tyres from the US as they are nearly half the price than the UK only a little more for shipping but still cheaper than the damn UK

    Thanks

Nice looking brackets for your shifter cables. Since your gas tank is mild steel, I would use some of this Gas Tank Sealer Kits just to keep your fuel cell from rusting on the inside.
