Hi got all the glavinised pipe off that he had put on the front nose rails as it was a mission to weld and just didnt look right ;D
Designed some new front suspension pivots and got some laser cut and bent some new nose rails and got new steering rack. Thanks for Rick s for that and all the help in the process

Got it all on today and it looks allot better.

Made some new top front shock mounts because they were slighty too low so i had too much full droop eyes

So got some new ones made up and got them onto day.
    Here are some pics

    Thanks Robin

Hi Rob the rebuild looks like its coming along pritty good i like what you have done with the front arms and shocker placement, i two have brought a unfinished project of ebay with a few problems a few kinked bends and choice of bushing in the front and rear end, would you tell me what type of bushing/bearing you are useing in your control arm.
    regards
    Wes

Got some diamond plate for fire wall dash etc.
I was looking at the firewall and have been thinking of ways to try and solve the problem because the engine bay hasnt been extened enough it sticks into the cockpit a little is the easiet way to bend the firewall at the furthest point and then have end caps welded on the end to make it flush with the main roll bar hoop??

Something like this what do you guys reckon any easier way ???

    Thanks
    Robin

Firewall solution looks good to me. Was it really galvanized material on the car? That stuff is dangerous to weld! The fumes will get you.

The firewall? Looks like diamond plate aluminum.

Ok, nevermind, it was the tubing... Galvanized tubing is generally a cheap grade of steel also. Every piece that I have used for pipe or conduit is soft.
